Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Run Board (the "Promotion") is sponsored and administered solely by Flash Point Media Group LLC, 11463 S. Willow View Way, Sandy, Utah 84092 (the "Sponsor"), producer of the Utah Rink Rat Podcast. The Sponsor is solely responsible for the Promotion. Questions: jay@utahrinkrat.com or 801-403-6166.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, September 28, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Saturday, April 10, 2027 (the "Promotion Period"), which corresponds to the 2026–27 NHL regular season. The Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device.

The Promotion Period is divided into weekly entry rounds. Each weekly round opens at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday and closes at the scheduled puck drop of the first NHL game listed on that round's pick sheet. Entries received after a round closes are void for that round.

3. Eligibility

Open only to individuals who, at the time of entry, are:

• 18 years of age or older; and
• legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, physically located in the United States at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, members, contractors and agents of the Sponsor, and of any Promotion sponsor or prize supplier, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible.

The Promotion is void in Puerto Rico, all other U.S. territories and possessions, outside the United States, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law. Entries from Rhode Island retail establishments are not accepted. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

4. How to Enter — Free

There is one method of entry, and it is free. During an open weekly round, submit your picks for every game listed on that round's pick sheet, plus your tiebreaker number, by either:

• completing the free entry form linked from utahrinkrat.com; or
• emailing your picks and tiebreaker to jay@utahrinkrat.com with the subject line "Run Board".

An entry must include your full name, a valid email address, your state of residence, a selection for every game on the pick sheet, and the tiebreaker. Incomplete entries are void.

You will never be asked to buy anything, subscribe to anything, follow, like, share, repost, tag another person, comment, or watch any video in order to enter or to win. Doing any of those things will not improve your chances. Entry is not conditioned on any social media activity or on any podcast download, view or subscription.

Internet access and an email address are required and are the entrant's own responsibility; standard data rates from your carrier may apply and are not reimbursed. Entries generated by script, macro, bot or other automated means are void. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

5. Entry Limits

One (1) entry per person per weekly round, regardless of method. Using multiple email addresses, identities, or accounts to submit more than one entry in a round voids every entry from that person for that round. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address used.

6. How Winners Are Determined

Winners are determined by skill — the accuracy of your predictions — not by chance drawing.

Weekly winner

The eligible entry in each weekly round with the highest number of correct game selections wins that round. A selection is correct if the team you picked is credited with the win in the official NHL final result, including results decided in overtime or by shootout. Games postponed, suspended or cancelled and not completed before that round's results are posted are excluded from scoring for all entrants in the round.

Season winner

The eligible entrant with the highest cumulative number of correct selections across all weekly rounds in the Promotion Period wins the season prize.

Tiebreakers, applied in order

1. The entrant whose tiebreaker number (total combined goals scored in the designated tiebreaker game) is closest to the actual total without exceeding it.
2. If still tied, the entrant whose tiebreaker number is closest to the actual total in absolute terms.
3. If still tied, the earliest time-stamped entry in that round, as recorded by the Sponsor.

Official results are taken from NHL.com. The Sponsor's determination of results, scoring and winners is final and binding in all respects.

7. Odds of Winning

Because winners are determined by the accuracy of predictions rather than by random drawing, the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received in a round and on the relative accuracy of those entries. The odds cannot be calculated in advance. No purchase or payment affects the odds in any way.

8. Prizes and Values

Prizes are merchandise or experiences only. No prize consists of cash, a gift certificate, a gift card, a bar tab, a drink voucher, store credit, cryptocurrency, or any other form of monetary compensation or redeemable credit, and no prize will be converted to cash. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. No substitution, transfer or assignment of a prize by a winner is permitted. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate retail value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.

Where a prize is supplied by a third-party sponsor of the podcast, that supplier is identified at the time the prize is announced. A prize supplier's contribution does not create any entry obligation, and no entrant is ever required to purchase from, visit, or transact with any sponsor or prize supplier.

No alcohol, ever. No prize consists of, contains, or may be exchanged or redeemed for an alcoholic product. Alcoholic beverages are never awarded as a prize, offered as a prize, advertised as a prize, or included in any prize package. Where a prize is supplied by a licensed Utah retailer, restaurant, bar, manufacturer, distributor or other alcohol-industry member, that prize is limited to non-alcoholic items and carries no entitlement of any kind on any licensed premises.

No prize is ever conditioned on, or awarded on the basis of, the purchase, display, use, sale or consumption of an alcoholic product, and no entrant is required to visit a licensed premises to enter, to claim, or to receive a prize. Prizes are shipped or handed over off-premises.

9. Winner Notification and Claim

Potential winners are notified by email at the address submitted with the winning entry, ordinarily within seven (7) days after the close of the applicable round. A potential winner must respond with a valid U.S. shipping address within fourteen (14) days of the date the notification is sent. If a potential winner does not respond within that period, cannot be reached, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or the notification is returned undeliverable, the prize is forfeited and may be awarded to the next-highest-scoring eligible entry.

There is no cost of any kind to claim a prize. Winners are never charged shipping, handling, processing, redemption, insurance, or any other fee. The Sponsor ships prizes within the United States at the Sponsor's expense. The Sponsor may require a winner to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release before a prize is awarded, except where prohibited by law.

10. Taxes

All federal, state and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Sponsor reports prize values as required by law and may request a completed IRS Form W-9 before awarding a prize where reporting is required. Prizes and awards not for services performed are reportable on Form 1099-MISC, and the Sponsor follows the reporting threshold stated in the then-current IRS Instructions for Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. Because no wager is ever made in this Promotion, no Form W-2G is issued.

11. Not a Wager, Lottery, or Gambling

The Run Board is a free promotional skill contest run to promote the Utah Rink Rat Podcast. Nothing of value is risked by any entrant, no consideration of any kind is paid or promised by any entrant, and the Sponsor takes no share, rake, fee, or economic benefit from any entry or from any pool of entries. There is no pool.

The Promotion is not a lottery, raffle, gift enterprise, sweepstakes requiring consideration, wager, proposition bet, sportsbook, or any form of gambling, and the Sponsor does not accept, place, broker, or facilitate any bet. No part of the Promotion simulates a gambling environment, and the Sponsor does not display betting odds, betting lines, point spreads, parlays, bankrolls, virtual chips, or any wagering interface in connection with the Promotion.

12. Platform Disclaimers

YouTube

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube or Google LLC. Entrants release YouTube and Google LLC completely from any and all liability arising out of or relating to the Promotion. Entrants must also comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines. Entry is not conditioned on watching, liking, disliking, commenting on, or subscribing to any YouTube channel or video, and the Sponsor does not use this Promotion to manipulate any YouTube metric.

Meta — Facebook and Instagram

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram. Entrants release Meta Platforms, Inc. completely from any and all liability arising out of or relating to the Promotion. Meta does not administer this Promotion and provides no assistance with it. Entry is not conditioned on sharing, reposting, tagging another person, liking, commenting on, or following any Facebook or Instagram account or post.

Apple, Spotify and podcast platforms

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Spotify AB, or any podcast platform or directory, and entrants release each of them from all liability arising out of or relating to the Promotion. Entry is not conditioned on downloading, streaming, rating, reviewing or following the podcast on any platform.

Public posts

Posting publicly about the Promotion is never required. If you choose to post about it on social media, place #UtahRinkRatContest at the beginning of your post so your connection to the Promotion is clearly disclosed, consistent with the FTC Endorsement Guides.

13. No Affiliation with the NHL or the Utah Mammoth

This Promotion and the Utah Rink Rat Podcast are independent productions of Flash Point Media Group LLC and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by the National Hockey League, NHL Enterprises, L.P., the Utah Mammoth, or any NHL member club. All NHL and club names and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify games for prediction purposes.

14. Privacy Notice

What the Sponsor collects. Your name, email address, state of residence, your submitted picks and tiebreaker, and the date and time of your entry. If you win, the Sponsor also collects the mailing address needed to ship your prize and, where legally required for tax reporting, the information on IRS Form W-9.

Why. Solely to administer the Promotion — to score entries, determine and notify winners, ship prizes, meet tax and record-keeping obligations, and, if you separately opt in, to send you show updates.

Sharing. The Sponsor does not sell, rent, or trade entrant information. Information is shared only with service providers that operate the entry form, email and shipping on the Sponsor's behalf, and only as needed to run the Promotion, and with authorities where required by law. Entrant information is not shared with podcast sponsors or prize suppliers unless a winner separately and expressly consents.

Retention. Winner records — name, last known address and prize — are retained for at least four (4) years. Non-winning entry records are deleted within twelve (12) months after the end of the Promotion Period.

Your choices. Email jay@utahrinkrat.com to access, correct or delete your information, or to unsubscribe from show updates. Deleting your information during an open round withdraws your entry for that round. The Promotion is not directed to children, and the Sponsor does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

15. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its members, officers, contractors and agents, and each podcast sponsor and prize supplier, from any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages and liability of any kind arising out of or relating to participation in the Promotion, the acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or any travel or activity related to a prize.

The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed, or not received for any reason; for any failure, malfunction, interruption or unavailability of any network, server, email system, form provider, or internet connection; for typographical or other errors in these Official Rules or in any Promotion material; or for any change to the NHL schedule or to any published game result.

By accepting a prize, a winner consents to the Sponsor's use of the winner's first name, last initial and state of residence in announcing results on the podcast, on the Sponsor's website and on the Sponsor's social media accounts, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

16. Disqualification

The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who, in the Sponsor's sole judgment, tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, submits multiple entries in a round, submits an entry by automated means, submits false or misleading information, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive, threatening or abusive manner toward the Sponsor or another entrant.

17. Cancellation and Changes

These Official Rules are fixed for the duration of the Promotion Period and will not be changed during the Promotion in any way that alters eligibility, the method of entry, how winners are determined, or the prizes offered.

If fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control — including cancellation, suspension or material rescheduling of the NHL season — corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion or any affected round. If a round is terminated, the Sponsor will award that round's prize to the highest-scoring eligible entry received before the event giving rise to the termination.

18. Disputes and Governing Law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Promotion is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah. Each entrant waives any right to claim punitive, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, and any recovery is limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering. If any provision of these Official Rules is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

19. Winners List

For the name of a weekly or season winner, send a written request with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Run Board Winners List, Flash Point Media Group LLC, 11463 S. Willow View Way, Sandy, UT 84092, or email jay@utahrinkrat.com. Requests must be received within ninety (90) days after the end of the Promotion Period. Winners are also announced on the podcast and at utahrinkrat.com.
